Ben Kumar Keathley

Ben has lived in Chesterfield, Missouri. for over 28 years and is a leader in his community. After serving 7 years on Chesterfield's Environmental Committee, Ben was elected to the Chesterfield City Council in 2017, working on the City's Finance & Administration and Public Health & Safety Committees.
An Academic All-Conference NCAA athlete, Ben was a part of Knox College's Midwest Conference Championship team before graduating from Knox, Cum Laude.
He went on to Syracuse University College of Law, where he earned the Student Bar Association's Distinguished Service Award, and was elected Vice-President of his Law School Class. While at Syracuse, Ben also earned his Masters in Political Science from the Maxwell School, the No. 1 ranked Public Affairs school in the US. Ben started his legal career as a law student, working at Syracuse's Legal Clinic where he helped clients with Income Tax and Bankruptcy issues.
After graduating, Ben moved back to St. Louis, and worked for a top Plaintiff's firm in downtown St. Louis, before starting Keathley Law Office, LLC (now Lerman Keathley LLC).
Ben has represented clients, including professional athletes and Nobel Peace Prize nominees, all over the State of Illinois and Missouri at both the trial and appellate level. Ben has worked on multi-million dollar civil litigation cases and has experience winning before the Missouri Supreme Court.
